STO BUILDING UPDATE:

First, THANK YOU for your patience in this process. Because of the project scope and contractor’s schedules, it’s taken a lot longer to make sure we have everything right. One addition to the maintenance part of our project is the church roof; shingles are in need of replacement due to their age and need for continued maintenance.

Our local contractor, Prairie Builders, completed a walk-through at the beginning of June and will be getting us a number in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to Zach Malikowski for his work on drawing what was needed for our contractors to move forward. Once bids are received, we’ll be making decisions and a timeline on when maintenance and beautification updates will be made. More communications to come.

We’ve heard great feedback on the lights! Though a little dark in the Nave at first, we think they’ve been lit in a way that allows all to read and worship. Please continue to provide feedback. A BIG thank you to Dominic Blume for the many hours he spent on this project. The best news is we’re $11,000 under the budgeted $60,000 for the lighting update.

Continue to pray for those on the committee and our parish as we move forward. The project and your pledges show your commitment to Saint Olaf and the Body of Christ.
